LIGHT,

AUTOMATED.
Motorized blinds and shades that open with sunrise, close at dusk, respond to your thermostat, and integrate with every scene in your smart home. Lutron Serena shades are the natural companion to K-TEC’s existing Lutron lighting expertise.
Why K-TEC Added Motorized Blinds: — Dynamic Home Technologies, Quinte Smart Homes, Uplynk, and Smart Homes Pro all offer this service. As a Lutron lighting specialist, K-TEC can now offer Lutron Serena motorized shades — a perfect, fully-integrated pairing with existing lighting installs.
SHADES THAT
THINK FOR THEMSELVES
Schedule
Sunrise & Sunset
Shades open automatically at your set wake time or actual local sunrise — no alarm needed. Close at sunset or when you activate your evening scene.
Climate
Energy Savings
In summer, shades close when the sun hits south-facing windows — reducing AC load. In winter, they open to let solar heat in. Automated based on temperature and time.
Scenes
Scene Integration
Movie Night drops all living room shades. Good Night closes bedroom shades fully for blackout. Good Morning raises all shades gradually to wake you naturally.
Privacy
Privacy on Demand
Voice command or app tap closes any room instantly. Great for ground-floor bedrooms, street-facing windows, and home offices during video calls.
